M&M's White Chocolate Candy Corn Cake Batter Cookies

My mom recently sent me a few bags of these White Chocolate Candy Corn M&M's. My heart skipped a beat!

I have NO idea where my obsession with candy corn came from or when it started but it's bad. Really bad.
These little guys don't really taste like candy corn, but they have a yummy caramely flavor. They are very sweet and you can't eat very many by themselves, but in these cookies, they are great! Cake batter cookies were the perfect pairing for these candies, and they were so fast and easy to mix together!

Here's all you need.

M&M's White Chocolate Candy Corn Cake Batter Cookies
adapted from angela at allrecipies
     makes 30-32
1 box vanilla cake mix, 18.25 oz
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1/2 C vegetable oil
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 C M&M's white chocolate candy corn pieces
Candy corn for topping

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix and baking powder. In a small bowl, mix together the eggs, oil and vanilla. Add the egg mixture to the cake mixture and stir to combine. Add in the M&M's. Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet or silpat.

Bake for 10 minutes. Take out of oven immediately top with candy corn or extra white chocolate candy corn M&M's. Allow to cool for 5 minutes on cookie sheet before transferring to cooling rack. They will be very soft at first.
Cool and enjoy!

This was my first time making these kind of cookies. They really spread out when they bake and I got them a little too close together. Make sure you give them enough room to "grow" on the pan. Guess I'll just have to try and make them again soon! :)

Take these cookies to a Halloween party or a tailgate! Need another fun use for your candy corn? Try these chewy candy corn nutter butter bars! Or use them for these cute Owl-O-Ween cookies!

  2. How festive these cookies are! I was unaware of the white chocolate M&M's and I will be on the look out. Cake batter cookies are great by themselves, but the add-ins really make them special. Well done.
