Black Bean Turkey Burger with Spinach and Feta

Pin It This was my second attempt at making turkey burgers and I have to say they were delicious! These burgers are so healthy and satisfying. They are also great as left overs, so you could always double the recipe, using the entire can of beans and box of spinach. Easy-peasy! Pair them with my chipotle sweet potato fries and you can't go wrong!

Black Bean Turkey Burger with Spinach and Feta

Black Bean Turkey Burger with Spinach and Feta
1 lb ground turkey breast
1 C canned black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 10oz box frozen spinach, thawed and drained
1/2 C fat free feta cheese
1 tsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix thoroughly until everything is incorporated. Form into four patties.
Look at all that yummy stuff!

Cook over medium to medium-high skillet, covered, for a few minutes on each side, until cooked though. Top with avocado or additional desired toppings.

These would also be great grilled because they actually stayed together perfectly. But I think I found a new favorite way to cook burgers with the lid on the skillet; they stayed moist and weren't dried out a bit.

So that's two kinds of turkey burgers. What's your favorite turkey burger concoction?
